Here are the signs:
1. First meeting was awkward. he looked at me and immediately looked down.
2. after a bit gave lots of eye contact and was listening and interested in what I was saying.
3. Have seen him looking over at me from the corner of my eye.
4. told a lot of jokes, which I laughed at. even repeated a joke he already told.
5. We were alone for 10 minutes, he was nervous around me and laughed nervously when he was trying to show me how to do something
6. seems to almost ignore when we are in a group setting
7. turned away from me when I tried to strike up a conversation.
8. always offers me beers
9. was loud and tried to draw attention to himself.
10. only approached me to say hi once, but I wasn't alone.
11. told me he was shy
12. Shook my hand the first time we met
13. My sister saw him looking at me when I wasnt looking. She said it happened alot and it seemed as if he was looking to see where I was.
Should I ask him out for coffee?
My friend says I should forget about it and he doesn't like me because of these 3 reasons:
1. The first time he met her he was flirty and make sexual comments, and he hugged her when he left. When he met me he didn't make flirty sexual comments and he shook my hand. Clearly he treated me differently. (she is married)
2. He would make more of an effort to be available, and would call me over to hang out or ask for my phone number. but if he was shy would he?
3. She thinks he lied about being shy because he hugged her. But if he wasnt interested in her wouldnt it make sense that he was comfortable around her?
