My name is Matthew, and I am a senior at Texas A&M University. I have a problem where I know this woman that I am falling for very hard, but she is not single. The backstory is pretty simple.
Since my sophomore year or earlier, this woman and I have been VERY close. So close that we tell each other, quite literally everything. Aside from her boyfriend (obviously) I was the first to know about her losing her virginity. Lately though, I've found myself falling in love with her. I have no desire to break up her and her boyfriend(the man she has been with as long as I've known her) because I am genuinely happy for her. I want to see her and the man she wants to be with be happy together. My problem is that I want to rid myself of this because falling in love with her will only complicate things, and I love her friendship too much to jeopardize that by trying to interject myself between her and him. I feel some anonymous opinions may help because my friends encourage me to go after it anyway, leading me to believe I amy actually be the only true man on this entire campus.
