Anyways unexpectedly I receive a mail from a gentleman here his exact e-mail >>>>>>>>> Wow! You are truly stunning & Beautiful! Hope this message finds you well. I am new to online dating and have been on this site for about 3 wks and seldom visit, but want to let you know that I admire your profile a great great deal and very interested in meeting you. My name is .... and I am a Software Engineer and Computer Scientist by profession. I describe myself as an attractive, loyal, honest, intelligent, ambitious and decent man. I am not trying to sell myself and have received a lot of messages and requests for dates, etc, but I am interested in YOU and ONLY you because you seem to be a decent, charming and beautiful person and you STAND OUT. You surely wont be disappointed! Thank you and God bless! After a few phone calls we met, we had a GREAT time it lasted for couple hours had a nice walk, but mostly talking really! ABOUT HIMSELF after the date he sent me this text "I GOT HOME 20 MINS SAFELY. THANKS AGAIN AND I HAD A GREAT TIME"We talked on the phone a few times after THEN THIS HAPPENED You meet someone, you go out with them, you have an amazing time............tons in common, and before you know it a month or so has gone by and then..............oh yes... .......out of the freakin blue..................the dude never calls again?? For no apparent reason. Everything is absolutely fantastic and "poof"............... they're just gone. And you try to email, and call, and text..............and then start feeling like a stalker and finally give up. Yeah I'm familiar with that book "He's Just not into you" Now what? Thanks, LAMB

I just recently went out on a date with a guy that kept telling me all night how much younger and prettier I looked than my photo. He kept telling me what a great time with me he was having and how he couldn't wait until our next date. He even made plans with me to do a " walk for autism" I was doing the next weekend. I did not ask him to do this. He jumped right in when I told him what I was doing and said he would love to come with me. He even said he would make a donation to the cause. After the evening was over he reiterated what a great time he had and that he was looking forward to the walk He called me the next day and again told me he had a great time and again was looking forward to seenig me and the walk. Well, I have not heard from him since. "Poof" he vanished into thin air. He has been on the site "shopping" though. When I didn't hear from him after a few days I knew he was "off and shopping" again. I've learned that for some it becomes an addiction to see if there is someone prettier or better than the last person they met. They will always be looking for something better and never be satisfied. Develope a thick skin and don't take it personally. I have learned to not have any expectations other than to enjoy the date. Did you experience looking for a job, coming for an interview and interview looks perfect and they tell you that you are a great candidate and they like you very much and then you never hear from them again? Same story. Because they have 10 more candidates to interview. I was doing on-line dating myself and I was doing my best trying to charm a man and of course I would tell him, that I had a great time, even I was not sure if I liked him at all. Just in case. On the other hand I already had two-three more dates scheduled same week and I would do same things all over again - smiling, looking friendly and things like that, just in case. This is like a marathon. It's too much. This is why people never know if they like anybody, because to really like somebody you would need to spend a time with a person, meet a person several times, it requires much more than just saying to yourself - next! But if you have 3-4 new dates a week scheduled - how can you seruoisely stop and concentrate on someone. I once met 19 men in one month, I completely lost track of who is who and didn't really like anybody, I had to maintain a spreadsheet. It's just radiculus - to maintain a spreadsheet, but how would you remember anything another way? How could I like somebody if it was like a marathon? After that I was completely burned and stopped doing on-line dating. Then my girlfriend introduced me to a man. I met him for dinner and thought - "I don't know if I liked him, not sure if I want to see him again". If he would be just one more person from on-line dating site, I wouln't see him again - next! But he was a friend of a friend and my girlfriend convinced me to see him again. She said - why don't you meet him again, give him a chance, you are not losing anything - right? So I said OK and met him one more time, then one more time and then I started really like him and now I am in a very good relationship for a long time. It would never happen if I would meet this man on-line. Of course, everybody's experience is different. But these are my two cents.

I was on-line for 3 years and I have all the horror stories to prove it including the liars, cheaters, disappearing magicians and everything in between. I didn't make a spread sheet but that would have been a good idea (peeved I didn't think of it ). Then on day I met S on one of the more popular dating sites. I went into with all the usual expectations I would be bored and disinterested or the red flags would burn my eyes. My initial reaction was he's cute enough but too vanilla for me (I like the bad boys). I would scare him off with my more care free attitude and flamboyant clothes (in comparison to his). After dinner he asked me out for a drink. I declined not wanting to get to close but I liked him well enough for a second date (a miracle for me). In the meantime I went out on a couple of other dates. On our second date I was hooked. That very night I canceled my subscription to the dating site and have never looked back. It's only been 3 months but we have spent every weekend together since our second date. I desire no others. We are so similar in so many ways yet so different in all the right ways. It's been fun introducing each other to hobbies, food, etc. There is nothing "bad" about this one yet he has my full attention. The point of my diatribe..................it can happen. Although it is way too early in our relationship to determine how much of future together however I am very hopeful. In the meantime I am really enjoying the "getting to know you" process. I am skittish as a rule but I have no desire to run from this one.

And again I've heard couples that have met via the internet and are happily married. Then on the other hand I have seen and read some real horror stories from trying to date people from on line. I guess the moral is if it works it really works. I had come across this opinion poll " Don't look down too much on relationships starting out from Internet - it'll be very common by the time ur kids r dating" and most of the voters agreeing to it, seems on line dating has a way to go.

I own a very successful business, a lovely huge huge, all bought and paid for with no loans. I have a lot of money saved in the bank. And another business that I just set up. I am very hard working, bright, educated, caring, loyal. I have just joined dating agencies and it seems to be that all the men seem to be interested in is if I have big boobs and am younger and better looking than them. The fact that I am hard working, reliable, loyal, and self sufficient financially gets pushed aside as if it is nothing. Then I get guys who are not solvent and have debts thinking that if they like the looks of me we will meet. When I am not interested in a lazy guy or a stupid guy or a guy who needs to rely on me for money or a house or advice, I would rather be single. That wouldbe like paying a guy lots of money to be with me! These guys always say that it shouldnot matter about them having nothing. But if they believe it is fine to date people with nothing they can find a woman with nothing. There are plenty of them about. Why do they only select the ones who have a big something? Then the other types are the ones who want a nurse! One guy was totally blind, bless him, not his fault, but then he got very nasty with me when I said I did not want to meet. Another had cerebal palsy. Same thing. Then there are the ones who want to be single and live on their own but want sex with you now and then when it suits them. They like the idea of coming to stay at my house withme for free bed and breakfast and sex, then going back to their world until the next time. If I wanted that sort of life I d set up an expensive brothel! Are there any nice men that are out there that are self sufficient financiallly and wanting a proper relationship?
